Nagisa is a sweet, sweet girl with a big heart. When people around her get sad, she gets sad, and she finds joy in other people’s happiness. She’ll risk her own happiness for others; not just her friends, but anyone in general. The most she wants from people is happiness, and if they get that then she has the comfort of knowing they’re happy.
She likes theater even though she’s never seen a play before. She wanted to reestablish the theater club, to preform, but she had never seen one herself. She had been consistently sick for seeing plays, as well as participating in them. However it was something she had wanted to do, so she set out to do it with help from Tomoya. It’s something very near and dear to her heart, and even though the task of going about it daunted her at times, she still wanted to do it.
Nagisa’s had a weak body since she was young, as mentioned before. She gets sick easily, and for long periods of time. It’s stated once that she missed out on most of the school year once, which is why she had to repeat her senior year. She fainted more than once in the series from random bouts of illness, and took quite a few days to get herself recuperated. They usually occur in times of stress, or it even happened once from standing out in the rain for a long time.
There are also times where it’s very, very easy to trick Nagisa. She doesn’t get sarcasm very well, and it takes her quite some time to figure out that the person is merely being sarcastic or joking. However, she really doesn’t like jokes like that when she isn’t the target - or even if she is. She thinks they’re mean, and won’t usually do them herself. She’s also the type of person that can’t say no to anybody. It’s been used to take advantage of her before, but as long as it’s for another’s happiness, she tries to make light of it.
The first time Tomoya saw Nagisa, he found her shouting a name of a food. Apparently it was something she had developed to do when she was nervous; a technique of sorts to help her calm her nerves. How that works…who knows, but that’s how she did it. There are a couple other times in the series that she shouts out the name of food, but it fades off towards the end of the season, more than likely because of the way her friends have impacted her.
Tomoya’s a person dear to Nagisa; pretty much being the one that brought her out of her shell. He’s the first one that actually tried being her friend and helped her set up the theater club, and also the one who introduced her to the friends she made throughout the canon. He helped her a lot, and she’s grateful for it. However, that bonding quickly turned into a crush - at least on Nagisa’s side.
Last but not least, because of Nagisa’s big heart it means she’s very emotional about things. Sad, happy, it doesn’t matter - she cries if she feels moved to. It’s gently made fun of, and she tries to cover it up. However, that never works out too well.
Powers & Abilities: Nagisa doesn’t have any powers, unless being freakishly cute is one of them.
What items will they be bringing with them? She doesn’t have anything with her.

“Dango, dango, dango, dango~” A female voice sang softly, obviously immersed in the task she had in front of her. What was she doing?
She was drawing the Great Dango Family on the ad paper for the theater club, of course. Nagisa smiled softly as she did so, piling the oddly shaped ovals on top of each other and putting eyes on them all. She was excited - of course people would love it, right? Everyone loved that!
…Even though Tomoya said it was out of date, she didn’t care. It was the only way she knew how to decorate the paper, after all. In her mind, she wasn’t that great of an artist. She wasn’t that great of anything, really. Or so she thought. She didn’t even know if she could run the theater club by herself, but Tomoya kept pushing her forward. He had even started to try to talk other people into joining, which made her excited but nervous at the same time.
What if she wasn’t good enough? What if this was all a waste of her time? She didn’t want to waste Tomoya’s time, after all, even though he had told her that he had nothing better to do?
“…Are you still drawing those things?” His voice brought her back into the present, and she jumped slightly. A soft blush came across her cheeks as she looked down to see just how many she had drawn on the paper.
“Ah-y-yes! It’s the only thing I know how to draw, after all.” The red tint on her face deepened as she shifted in her seat. “…Maybe I should try drawing something else.”
“You’re the President. Draw what you want.” Came Tomoya’s reply, and Nagisa paused again.
“I can’t help but draw it anyway; the Great Dango Family is so cute!” She took the piece of paper and brought it to her chest in a small embrace, before setting it on the table in front of her and smoothing it out once more. She only got silence in reply, so she started drawing once again.
Yes, she could do this!

[The feed turns on, and...hi it's Nagisa and she looks flustered. She's shifting around, her face is red, and she looks very much put on the spot.] A-Ah. My name is Furukawa Nagisa, and...class doesn't matter here, right? I-I love the Great Dango Family and--
[She clenches her fists and shakes her head, realizing that she's completely gone off the beaten track with this already.]
I-I'd like to see if anybody would be interested in creating a Drama Club here! [She pauses and...wow, can her face get any redder?] I-I mean, if it's too much trouble... It's fine, really!
[There's another pause.] It just...might make some people happy. So please consider if you can!
[aaand she's scurrying off the screen. The feed cuts a moment later.]
