So there we were setting up the booth at the Dealers Room of Toronto Trek 20, when someome says "I need this dress!".

So I look up and see a stunning redhead pointing to one of the dresses I had just hanged on the rack. Honestly my first thought was "Great. We haven't even opened yet and sales already started". Seconds later this unknown purchaser ( Read more... )

Are those of the style you were asking about earlier? They do look a lot better on a person than on the mannequin or hanger.

Yes, it's from my new line. I should fire my hanger and hire Liana to be my photo model.
Please note the white piece of paper on her left hand is my business card. :) I was told she mentioned my shop when she got on stage.

That she did.. she mentioned that the place that she was supposed to get a dress from had mucked up.. and that she was in a bind, and Dani's Cosplay Supplies ( located in the dealer room ;) )helped her out with this AWESOME formfitting garment :).
You can't BUY that kind of publicity :).
Nicely done.

Did she get the boots from you too, or did she just happen to have the perfect boots to go with the costume?

Those were hers. She came prepared. I think she was expecting a similar costume to arrive, but it was almost time to go on stage and it wasn't there yet.
