So yesterday, I kinda went off the wall a bit, but nothing major - I had a grilled cheese for lunch and Indian food for dinner, with a little bit of rice and a quarter piece of Naan. What I find works best for me (overall, not just when I'm "dieting") is carbs and protein for breakfast (think Shredded wheat or GoLean Crunch), and one serving of something starchy (brown rice, quinoa, etc.) with either lunch or dinner. The other meal is usually a big pile of veggies with a bit of cheese, and maybe some tofu or meat.
That's what I'm planning on going back to. The South Beach thing is no more.
