i want to say i know how you feel, and in some measure i do. but, i guess, i also want you to know that you are not my supporting role, your a friend, and that makes you part of the main event. if that makes any sense, the analogy made me soidhfkaj;ern in teh head.

love, mucho.

I think I've felt almost exactly the same way a number of times.
In hindsight, I think it's impossible to play the supporting role if you're living your own life.
I wish I knew what else to say, I seem to have become deadened to this sort of thing.
All I know is that it will get better. Not because the situation will change, but because you will become more aware of yourself, and then more aware of your connection with everything around you. It's here, Dani, and you're here, and it all exists, and sometimes it feels like shit but I'd rather have it that way than not at all.

i want you to try to remember something Dani. I know how you feel, i have felt it many, many times before, and i will probably feel it many more times. you are not alone, by any means. you just gotta remember that there isnt time in this life to spend waiting for things to happen. you gotta make it work for you girl! do some crazy things!! piss on a lamp post, talk to someone you never have before. most important, push yourself beyond your own limits, outside of your comfort zone. thats the best thing you can do to jolt you out of the mundane, boring every day life that we are so often stuck living in. i know it often feels like your whole life has been made up of the same day, and the pattern and routine is unbearable. i know you sometimes feel like you're gonna break open, but just remember that sometimes you need to be pulled the farthest down that you have ever been before to come back up to the surface again and breathe. i also want you to do something for me. i want you to listen to the song "wish you were here" by pink floyd ( ... )

Everyone feels this way sometimes. Trust me I had those same feelings from about the end of last year until December. Try to make your own place in a group and become a leader, set an example for other people. Being positive helps even if you feel like shit. Doctors have told me to smile anyways because then happy hormones kick in and make you feel better. Or try exercising if you are not getting arobic exercise for at least a half hour three times a week, then certain hormones that make you happy aren't being flowed through your body. I can relate to those days where you are just sitting around doing pointless things and asking yourself what the point of living is. What keeps me going is the idea that it can't get any worse. It's like in fight club, you have to hit rock bottom before you start going up. Don't worry, this peroid of time is your rock bottom and then it will go up soon. Just make it interesting by trying to make your life a little different. Go biking around Skokie and you'll end up places you have never been. Or tilt ( ... )
