Basically, it's the tail end of the storm, and she likes flying just after the rain, but turns out there was one last burst of storm left, so hawk-form!Danica ended up getting roughly shoved into a tree. On the plus side, she ended up landing okay, but on the downside, she's got a piece of tree branch through her wing

[ Renji was dead asleep on the couch, snoring gently, but a gust of wind from the open window has gently prodded him into wakefulness. He stretches sleepily, still lying down, then finally sits up, blanket sliding down his bare chest as he blinks his vision clear. ]
