-Dani got a job! Kind of. It's for a little more than a week as a receptionist at my dad's work which is two hours away meaning I will be getting up at 5AM and returning at 7PM and it's going to be great. Also it's giving me money which is always good. Anyone got some good book recommendations

BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS! I CAN DO THAT!

Based on what I know about you, I recommend...

- ALL the Discworld books, but I recommend those to everyone.
- The Shadow of the Lion, by Mercedes Lackey, if you're interested in political intruige, action, magic, and romance in an alternate history version of 16th century Venice.
- His Dark Materials, by Philip Pullman, if you haven't read those for SOME REASON.
- Otherland, by Tad Williams, for surreal sci-fi epic involving virtual reality a lot.

*looks over his bookshelf* Yeah, most of my book tastes aren't really the kind of thing I associate Dani with.

Except for His Dark Materials. 'Cause. Dude. That's already one of my favorite trilogies ever that I've read a bajillion times over.
