how different do you think our lives would be without the internet?...without livejournal, without myspace, no facebook, no emails, no AIM. It seems so long ago, but there was a day, once upon a time, when no one had access to any of these things and the world kept on moving along just fine. We've all grown up with this ever increasing technology

if you're a believer that fate directs us, then our lives wouldn't be that much different. the same outcome would come about, just a different way.

but i don't really believe that. however, i think that the qaulity of our lives would be more or less equal. the interenet is awful in so many ways, but at the same time it's awesome and i'm glad i've had access to so much information, and had a journal that has inspired me to write more than i usually would.

i didn't mean to make it sound like it was all bad....its an amazing invention and helps out a lot...but i think our generation has come to depend on it a little more than they should and there's no doubt that it causes some trouble

im not really a believer in fate...im a believer in consequence. Things are the way they are and people just adjust to whatever happens, deal with it, move on, and then come to believe "well this must be what was meant to happen"

Without the internet i cannot even fathom what i would be like. All my interests come from the internet. Just imagine what music i would listen to without the internet. Then again where would i learn all that sketchy information that normal people shouldn't know. I know that the internet has ended my interest in TV as i only watch maybe a couple hours a week if that. I do not feel like the internet is evil though. The evolution of our society comes from knowledge and the internet deffinately fosters intelligent thought.

I just went a week without my computer, and it's really not as different as you'd think. It reminds you that people have phones too and sometimes use them just as often as AIM.
