5 years ago today I walked into my department at Loma Linda University Medical Center and my supervisor told me "Hey, did you hear a plane flew into The World Trade Center just a few minutes ago? Self Portrait
I was out taking a few shots during the night and the moon was about half light and low on the horizon. It made a long shadow and I thought I'd try and take a self portrait shot. I think it came out pretty weird looking. What do you think?

Dude, you just backed into my truck!
Tuesday... What an interesting day. The day started off just like any other Tuesday with me going to the movie theater early for our weekly meeting. Everything normal, just like it always goes. So Im lying in my bed here at the hotel in SF, and Im just lying there relaxing drifting off. I keep hearing this chanting, so I get dressed grab the camera and run down stairs. And what do I find? Israelis and Palestinian supporters on different sides of the street protesting. Yelling at each other. Good times!

Well, here I am. I'm staying in down town San Fransisco. God is the weather nice up here. This really makes me want to stay up here forever. Ate at Tommy, some mexican restaurant... Very very good. Tomorrow I'm leaving for my first business trip. I am heading to San Fran for the rest of the week. Am I looking forward to it? sure, but not in the way I would be looking forward to going there for vacation or something. Not to mention, I have a presentation to do Monday morning when I get back..
