You need to read To Kill a Mockingbird!! It's one of my favourite books ever :) Also, Anne of Green Gables, thanks to that book, the whole series actually, I started liking reading ^^ I hated it when I was a kid, I lost on purpose books I had to read in order not to read them. Not to mention books were from the library. I was a horrible child :P

It's about an orphan girl with a huge imagination and writing talent who gets adopted by siblings living in Avonlea. And then there are adventures :D It all takes place at the begining of the 20th century on one of the canadians island. There are ten books in the series, the last two are collections of different stories. The latter ones are also about Anne's children and it all ends around the second world war.
I can't believe you haven't heard about it, though?! ;) I've read them so many times when I was younger. Anyway, you should give it a try, at least the first one 'cause it's the most famous :)

Catch-22 has been sitting in my bookcase and I still haven't gotten around to reading it... I'm in the middle of about three different books right now.

Pretty sure I've done this meme before..

What is it about? And what are you currently reading? (I used to read several books at the same time, but ever since I started going to college I stopped doing it- it's already hard for me to keep on with a single reading!)

I can't be objective with García Marquez because since I read One hundred years of solitude I became a huge fan, and find every novel he's written amusing (ok, there are a copuple exceptions, but still!). If I were you, I'd give it another try, though it is possible that after all, maybe he's not your cup of tea...
