New Year's?! How about getting drunk together? How would you feel about a Washington Heights celebration? We could make a delicious dinner and then split three or four bottles of wine. As far as parties go, I'm hearing about a few, but I'm not sure if I want to roam the streets all night or stay at home where I can have fun playing scrabble with drunken vanessa...

I think making dinner and drinking sounds awesome! I love the idea of being cozy and drinking and making some yummy food in your apartment. I have a yummy recipe for spinach and shrimp turnovers that I love making for friends. We should *definitely* go out, though--it's New Year's Eve!!

At some point Paul was hoping to spend part of New Year's with me but we're playing that by ear--I think at some point in the evening I'll just call him from wherever I am and he can come join me.
