My two cents and about that worthmalterreJanuary 11 2010, 21:05:07 UTC
Love the clicks at the bottom to facebook (and all) and your client list
Bad part: Where can we see you next? Front page: should load faster and have a quick summary rather than fancy-schmancy scroll page (your second paragraph is wonderful)
And on contact-you should state where you are located. I know you'd travel to Cali with the right budget but people like to know!

Interestingly enough, I've had a back and forth with my marketing mentor on the concept of a tour dates list. There are several downsides with a tour schedule:
If you're not constantly booked, your schedule will look empty and you'll look like a loser who doesn't work.
If you ARE booked, people might think you're unavailable for that day and not call you when you could accept several bookings that day.
That's why I suggest fans stick to the social media sites to find out where I'll be performing. It's the best of both worlds.
The front page loads as fast as I can get it to right now. Google Analytics will let me know if people are sticking around to read it.
And, although I'm not personally a huge fan of letting people know where I live in the case it might limit their choice to hire me, at the bottom of all the pages I posted Ansonia, CT USA so they know where I'm from.

A personal bugaboo of mine!:-D
"not for the feignt of heart" (in the darker magic show section) should be "faint of heart" unless you intend the double-entendre, in which case the word feignt should be in quotes.
Haven't searched for other spelling errors, and I know it doesn't rankle others like it does me, but personally incorrect spelling says "not professional" and I tend to give such businesses a pass.
