Twice in an hour I read about "learnings" from two business related web sites.

WTF is this word? Google to the rescue.

#1, 'Learnings' Is A Stupid, Stupid Word

#2, IMDB's Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Either Borat went to business 'B-school', or English is a second language for most MBA

Maybe "lessons", as recommended by your first link, seems to juvenile to MBAs. Still, that's no excuse. What ever happened to "take-aways", anyway?
