Slow day, slow night... But all around excellent

Today was cold, so I closed the pool where I work and went home.  and still got paid for being there :) YAY!

Actually, I went to deposit money in the bank, then realized it was Customer Appreciation day-- free food!  OH NO! About 4 people in front of me, they ran out of food.  BOO! I was upset.  So I went inside to make my deposit.  The teller told

All of my plants are dying! I think I might get a tree for our room next year.

A tree would be cool since we have more space. But (no offense or anything) be aware that trees can die, too...

I actually laughed out loud when I read your comment.

I know, I know... but I did keep my current plants alive for over a year, so maybe the tree will at least last one academic year.

If Fr. Tom were still here, I could ask him if he knows what kind of tree would do okay in a pot for a year or two. ("I miss Fr. Tom" may soon replace "I miss Monsignor")

I figured you would laugh, but sometimes typing sarcasm doesn't come out when typing. :) Can we fit a tree and your bookshelf?

I think you're right on the I miss ____. I think we didn't say "I miss Msgr" as much second semseter.
