well, we finally found a place to buy. I got on this pre-construction list for a new development in Dumbo. I made an appointment yesterday and new that we could be happy in this place. It's not as big as we would have liked, but we will make it work. The building is supposed to be completed by Spring 2007. For now, we'll stay in FH and save our

57 front st. http://www.57front.com/ it's just south of the starbucks. i think it might be the same developer. boylmegreen? they're taking forever with our bldg. i'm getting antsy. be prepared to wait until 2008. but dumbo is great. great location, wise investment. the new park along the river will be great as will the stores that are going into the old brick building along the water.

Ooh! We will be neighbors! 57 Front looks really nice! I think our developer is Hudson Companies Incorporated. The offering plan for J Condo says that the building will be ready between March 2007 - February 2008. Our lawyer is trying to do some negotiating around this, but I don't think we can really do much. It's scary to think that we might have to wait that long. I knew about the park, but I haven't heard about the stores. Awesome!
