I think the things our parents do as we grow up help us understand what we do and dont want in life... this week i just sat down and took a look at my life ... My father is an alcoholic i do what i can to accept it and understand that, thats a part of life, as much as i wish he wouldnt drink as much it makes me realize that when im married i dont

I'm proud of you and always have been. You're beautiful inside and out, you are incredibly intelligent, and I love being with you. Maybe your mom acts like taht toward her because she knows she can never be you, that you have potential and your mom thinks she doesn't. Your mom loves you and wants the best for you. The second kid always gets less punishment because the parents have already been through shit once with the first kid, I know from experience. My brother did practically nothing wrong and I was the fuckup and I'm sure they took things out on him harder than they did on me. Don't hate your sister, those choices that she's making aren't beneficial to her life and you know that, but she I guess might be one of those people that has to sink really low to actually learn something. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point. Know who you are and know all the good you possess. You are amazing, Danielle, and anyone who doesn't see that has the darkest sunglasses in the world on.
