To quote Bush: "Go Home and Die."
Let me ask you: How much harm can a person who is already on their stomach, hands behind their back, and already in handcuffs?

Before you answer, try the following:
      1)Lie down on your stomach
2)Place your hands behind your back
3)Have someone securely handcuff you in that position
4)Hilarity ensues as you attempt to cause trouble after the previous has taken place.

Only a video response will suffice and count to prove otherwise.
kthx

PS- Trusting in the sanity and restraint of the United States is not a strategy, and it is not an option.

He wasn't hand cuffed though and still resisting, Gabe. He was on the ground but not in cuffs and still resisting like crazy when he was tasered. If he was so scared, why didn't he just comply?

Some might say that this student crossed some lines of decorum with an inappropriate question - asking if he and Bush were both members of the secret society Skull and Bones at Yale University. However, I must ask the question: Who or What says that he crossed a or some lines? Did it lack respect? I don't know. Who determines what respect is ( ... )

That argument would work if tasing was completely non-lethal. it's not. It has killed people multiple times. so because it's usually a non-lethal weapon doesn't mean it should be used so freely. A kitchen knife is usually a non-lethal item too, but I think we all know what a crazed girlfriend can do with it. It's about responsibility and the police flexed their "muscle" instead of their "brain" in this instance. People try to make it out like the kid (which is what he is) was some giant Goliath. They had him restrained and the tasing was unnecessary. It was more of a "shut up" tactic than any actual procedural necessity.

First, damn near every weapon in the history of man has killed people. Not even mace is 100% non lethal. Cops have to make due with the weapons they have, not the weapons we wished they'd have.

Second, They didn't have him restrained by the time he was tased. You see him still struggling, and he refused to stop. What should the police have done, beat him into submission?
