I had a mad day yesterday, firstly I'm LOVING my work experience. It's made me even more certain that I want to work in magazine journalism, everything is so much fun even silly stuff like fact checking and mailing crap out!
In the space of one day I met Duncan from Blue (who was GORGEOUS), Anthony Stewart-Head aka Giles from Buffy, Sandi Thom and then we sat in the pub and lo and behold on the table next to us was Fran Healey from Travis. Twas MADNESS I tell you! MAdnessssss. Then we met up with Iain and later on met up with Vikki etc and got very drunk it was kinda amusing though. Then we came home and slept.
Then I woke up this morning with the hangover from hell so Moods and I both called in sick. I feel a bit silly calling in sick for work experience but the room was spinning. Anyway they were soooo lovely. Emma, the editorial assistant, said to me that I should go and sit in the sun. And if I wanted anything, food, drink, DVD's, something to read give them a call and they'd send over a courier for me!!!!!!!! How cool is that?
Anyway, so now I'm monging out in front of the TV with Moods and Sonja watching Lucky Number Slevin.
Oooh and also I got my double belted skirt from ebay but the zip on the front is broken! Which was not mentioned in the item's description. I mean it's easy enough to get it fixed but I am a little annoyed. But seeing as I paid barely thirty quid for it I shouldn't complain really. OH!
And I had a Lamb sighting, two actually. One was in the magazine that I am working at, it was a photo of Nicole Richie with her first season icon large hella hobo and the second was in the toilets at the pub yesterday when a girl came in wearing a L.A.M.B tank. I screamed "LAMB!" at her and she screamed "Lamb" back at me pointing at my top.
