Hmm...so looneylupinlover posted a link to an interesting post on marriage. I have to say that I found it actually entirely childish because it contained information that to me seemed basic sense - when you have grown up enough for marriage you don't need a checklist telling you that you can handle it. LOL, well, I wasn't expecting that as a reply.... :-P Mostly I was just glad to look at that post and be like, well, wow, those really are mistakes that I've never made and honestly can't see myself falling into, so hey cool for me, I think I'll be good at that whole getting married thing when I get there. Yeah, you SHOULDN'T need a checklist for when you get married... but I think a lot of people saw that post and were like, "Oh... CRAP, actually that describes me to a T. Maybe I should rethink this," or "Gosh I was a dumbass back in the day." I thought it was interesting. And not much in the way of childish, just because I knew the woman writing it was in her late forties... but that's just me. :-P

What are your thoughts on marriage in general, then?

=-P laugh at me!?!?! well i'm glad i was at least humorous.

my thoughts on marriage? i think marriage is an incredible union though certainly there are some people who i don't believe actually understand the spiritual side of such an event. the legal aspect, while important for our society is not what the whole thing is about and sometimes i think people lose sight of the important parts in all the pagentry. but i guess that is really more an opinion on weddings rather than marriage...

i've been a dumbass enough in my days and i still don't need a checklist to tell me that. i know when i am truly happy.
