You can buy special cat milk that they can digest. I'm not sure where you get this, but I know my parents buy it for their cats (well, cat, now) and that seemed to stop the runny rear end problem.

dude! tut would look adorable in cat diapers... but, the diaper would only last about 0.5 seconds with him. :)

I don't know if cats have this problem, but dogs do. Sometimes with smaller breeds of dogs, (warning this is gross, but it might be the problem), they are unable to release their anal sac secretions. If you see a small dog scooting it's butt on the rug and leaving a wierd trail behind, this is usually it. You can have the vet squeeze the sacs for you to get the secretions out.

We don't have this problem with Torre (big dog), but had this problem with my mom's Yorkie.
