Also, Don? Can you defend this?

I just thought "Don Vincent" sounded very quixotic.

I would have probably voted "Awesome" if I knew how to pronounce Simeon exactly.... is it Simon?

I gotta go with Rob here, my first thought was, "Why would you name your child 'monkey'?"

Eulalie sound like ukulele, and no one likes ukuleles.

Everyone loves ukuleles! It's my grandmother's name and one of her nicknames is Ukulele.

Now that you put it that way, I actually like the name Eulalie better. So you can change my vote to awesomest name ever.

I'm glad the explanation helped!

That's it! You guys can make babies with Brock, because evidently you all have the same crazy-ass taste in names. :P

Brock loves the name Ulysses, but he also likes Vincent. So I think you should name your child Ulysses Vincent Blake, and then he'll only be teased about being a dead president and not a monkey.

I love the name Ulysses! So awesome. I actually like Ulysses Vincent too. Vincent is the middle name of my father and his father. It was my great grandmother's maiden name. So it doesn't have the same origin as some men named Vincent.

Now that is a truly epic name!

The kind of name I would envy.

I LIKE it!

That name is truly epic.

Your son would grow a beard and a taste for scotch by the age of 8, it would be magnificent.

Keep in mind I'm sort of conservative when it comes to names. If I ever have a daughter (keep in mind I don't want kids), I would name her something like Elizabeth Rose.

Being name conservative is cool. It just doesn't seem to be how I roll, I guess?

And I didn't mean to write "Keep in mind" twice, I was half asleep when I posted that comment. And now I don't know how to edit said comment. Oh well.

For myself, whatever my firstborn son's first name is, his middle name is Clinton. The father doesn't get a say in that, his middle name is Clinton. ^^;

I said Jonathan in the poll, but I like Bartholomew too. or Anthony.

danithesquirrel January 15 2008, 05:58:17 UTC
Jonathan is my uncle's name and Anthony is my father's name.

Jonathan is the only male on that side of the family without the middle name Vincent!
