Mari-Chan! I coincidently just put the same picture as your icon image on my desktop recently, having come across it after years of initially discovering her art.
Whereabouts are you living in Baltimore? Don't forget to go to the knitting shop in Fells Point where Tracy Ullman learned to knit while filming that John Waters film! It's small, but very cute. Fells Point is also generally awesome, and next to Little Italy, which is fun too.
There's also a great yarn shop in Catonsville, Cloverhill Yarns, and one out in Glyndon (I think that's how you spell the name of the town), which I do not remember the name of.
I love that I'm getting yarn store recommendations! We live on the edge of the Charles Village and Waverly neighborhoods near the John Hopkin's Homewood campus. I can't wait to start seeing the sights around here.

Thanks for mailing back that book. I completely forgot about it.
I wish you two the best of luck there. But with talent and awesomeness, who needs luck, right?
