I think you are nicer in person. Text takes away a lot of emotion, so most people come across a little cold on lj anyway.

I probably come across really stupid with all my "Yays!!!" when I type. Though I yay a lot in person too... hmmm...

I think you come across very similar in person and on LJ. You're super excited and easily enraged in both settings. Does that make sense?

I can't think of one single person who 'knows' me both online and off. I have kept my 'real' life carefully separate from online interactions. Manouevring between the two seems like too much work.

That's kind of interesting.

In my case my best friends mostly live far away from me. I got to know them in person first but I keep in touch with them currently online. But there are only a couple other people that I've known online and then met in real life and got to know them there. Most people I know in one place or the other.

It sounds like you've got it sorted out to a nice balance, really. I'm too scared to even join Facebook, so it's possible that I just have a problem :)

But you have always seemed one of the nicest LJ users that I know, so unless you're a crazy jerk in real life I imagine it wouldn't be too much different!
