I am sorry that you are going through this. Let your friend liamtheruiner know that he is 5000% correct in not wanting to be in touch with Katie's parents but for other reasons than the ones he thinks.

I'm so sorry, Dani. This must be so hard for all of you. Please pass my condolences to Rob as well. If you need any help at all with anything, please let me know. I know the area where Kaylee went missing very well, having grown up near there, and having married someone who was stationed at Fort Meade. I am not sure how that might help at this point, but if it can, let me know.
