Many setbacks

*sigh*

I am not posting as often due to the fact that the resolution size of my moniter has been changed in order to comply with Google Earth's crazy size.

So the writing is immensly small and I can't see the scroll bar... so I hit the down arrow to move down the page...

Just a major pain in the ass, that's all.

I have spent the past 2 days drawing ( Read more... )

OH Please do get a picture. I'm excited.

You know, I know way too many people who laze around while "watching" the art shop... Sometimes people call me from the art shops =P.

Oh, and card captor sakura brings me wayyy back to the saturday mornings at like six. It's amazing.

Yeah I used to watch Cardcaptors when it was on Kids WB too... I thought Yue was hot... and I still kind of do... I'm sad, I know.

But I learned recently that there are many differences between the Cardcaptors we know and the Cardcaptor Sakura that was originally from Japan.

Like for example:
Sayoran Li has a boy-crush on Yue.
Madison (I forgot the Japanese name, Tomoya maybe?) has a borderline obsession with Sakura.
Sakura went on a "date" to this penguin place with Yue's human form.
One of Sakura's classmates is reported to be engaged to their teacher (creepy).
Sakura's older brother has a boy/man-crush on Yue's human form. (And vice-versa I suppose)

All in all, I think that three episodes worth of material was cut from the show for the American kid edit.

And this is one of the reasons why I hate Funimation... although they have done good work with Naruto (my opininion on Fullmetal is still being pondered).

Oh yeah, actually, my cousin is wicked into Cardcaptor Sakura, and she lives over in Singapore and she tells me how different it is over in the US versions... I was all excited.
