Someone stole my calculator

I have felt half-dead for the last 2 weeks. Only half of my mind seems to be concentrating on what I’m doing at any given time and the other half just feels, well, blank. Like it’s constantly stuck thinking and worrying and problem-solving but I don’t have any access to it. These constant distressed and panicked thoughts are locked in some ( Read more... )

A) Who is this Ben, and how can I KILL him. Its so beyond none of his fucking business what the hell you do, and if you want to sit on the couch watching gilmore girls and eating toasted cheese sandwiches all day long HE CAN GO FUCK HIMSELF.
Seriously. FUCK HIM.

B) You need to relax. Come to Europe with me!I'll be in the Cinque Terre tomorrow night! We'll lay on the beach and when we get too hot, we'll go swimming with the fishies!

C) I think you're lovely and I missssssss you!

D) School and MCAT's ARE a big deal, its ok to be stressed out. Just don't psych yourself out.

kisses!!
Deb

I believe we actually met Ben this past summer (or winter break?) in the kichen of Jason Preston's house when you were questioning my knowledge of the origins of the Aryan race.

So wait... Molly is going to be living with you and Ben and Jessica? Or is one moving out? Like... Ben?

'Cause seriously... you DON'T want to deal with that again. I'm sure you've gotten it from LJs, but yimmy149, kreampuffkrissy, and jonesnaround have been dealing with one who's as good as Dawn was, and - well, it's just not cool to be mixed into it on that same level. I hope you feel like Molly has enough support elsewhere that you don't have to be one of the main ones... but maybe not if she's living with you.

As for the dreams... I used to get those bad, can't-turn-your-brain-off-but-can't-really-use-it, can't-sleep-all-the-way dreams when I first started law school. I know it sounds weird after you've been reading all day, but reading for like 30 minutes before you go to bed each night REALLY helps. It has to be something fun, of course, complete fiction. It REALLY helps to unwind your brain. Like... you feel like your brain has been spinning one day all day, and reading takes it the other way for a while, stretches it out... I dunno, REALLY helps me.

Jessica seems to be contemplating moving out. I told her that Ben should move out, but the problem is that Ben doesn't have any other friends (except his best friends Matt whose parents actually bought him a 3 bedroom house that he lives in alone, but for some reason Ben can't move in with him). I DON'T want Jessica to move out, so I think Molly and Jessica are going to move into a room together.

You sound very stressed. Go do something relaxing & distracting! At least throw some headphones on, turn out the lights and try not to think for 15 minutes.

You're a unique girl, and I don't think you got that way by doing what other people tell you to, so I have faith that you can tune out Ben.

Sorry to hear about Molly. Like Devon said, I'm in a similar situation now. Everything I've read recently said it's natural to be angry and frustrated, and you should tell her that's how you feel.
