I always have those songs that I listen to when I'm in a "mood"...the same songs I listened to on heavy rotation for about a year after my last breakup. Here's an abbreviated list...
India.Arie - Ready For Love
Llorando - Mullholland Drive Soundtrack
Anastacia - Heavy On My Heart
Seether (feat. Amy Lee) - Broken
Anastacia - Rearview
Diana Ross - Every Time You Touch Me

Sometimes, I take a turn for the angry and just need to "get it out"...
Tori Amos - Precious Things
Ani Difranco - Adam and Eve

But at a time like this, I highly recommend you scrolling down through my journal and finding the RapidShare.de link for Regina Spektor's On The Radio.

I think it wins the award for Most Pertinent Lyrics Ever...at least this year.

This is how it works ( ... )

hey it's me, jules. here are a few i enjoyed during break up time.
runaway, hoobastank
you blew me off, bare jr. (cruel intentions soundtrk)
keroscene, miranda lambert (countryish)
you oughta know, alanis morissette
just a phase, incubus,
center of attention, barrel of a gun, two pts for honesty, guster
all mixed up,and creatures 311
satin in the coffin, modest mouse
who will save your soul, jewel
possession, sarah mclaughlan
there's your trouble, ready to run, dixie chicks
