This is the end, my friends. The last chapter I reserve for the amazing cover my unbeatable beta rranne made for me - we only have to sort out the details. Thanks to you all who stayed with me through this! . . .
Oh good grief, Danlef. That. Was. Amazing. I’m so sorry it’s taken me this long to get round to reading the whole story. I was really excited by the first couple of chapters but then Real Life got in the way and I decided to put it aside so that I could concentrate properly when I finally did get to read it. Eventually I loaded it to my Kindle and read it in squinty-vision on my phone during several consecutive train journeys home from work.
It completely blew me away. I know there have been other Sherlock-is-Khan or vice versa stories but none of their summaries have inspired me to read them so I don’t know how they went; but this one was completely amazing. The detail, and the obvious amount of research you’ve done into both Sherlock and Star Trek, make it true to both ’verses. Not being a true classic Trek fan (I’m a Next Gen girl) I can’t comment so much on that but I have seen Wrath of Khan several times and loved how you incorporated very canonical bits of it into your story.
Oh, my. I'm glad you liked it. And don't be sorry for being later than some; better late than never they say, right? You're always welcome here; you're my LJ foster mother after all (I know you wouldn't own me, but I'll have all you the same:))
