After the 4-way chop last Sunday, I went out to Diamond Jim's to defend my 1/4 title this Sunday. The tournament was $100 + $20 with no re-buys, but it's the once a month version where during the first 4 levels, a busted player can buy back in for $100. The problem with his name not actually being Dave (and I think you left his real one in paragraph 6) is that you couldn't do all this in HAL 9000 voice.

Thanks for the correction...the rat-holer's real name IS Dave. He won't read this post anyway, as he had to pawn his TRS-80 to bet a long shot at Santa Anita back in '87.

Great story Dan, I am happy to hear about this outing as it sure sounded like a great day despite playing with that "Dave" or Mr Rathole ;')
