those things are always the most difficult and pain staking decisions and processes to make..... I know how the waiting game is (a family member went though a similar situation with his wifes mother.. our in laws). If you have time or money ..you can go through the arduous process of declaring him incompeteant and electing a legal gaurdian who would then have the choice of whether to take him off the respiriatior. Of couse this course will involve legal fees, time incourt and sevreal psychiatrists... UGH!!!!!!!!!! good luck child.. Cool. I'm going to a meeting tonight then will probably try to figure out what weekend I'm heading for the hlls and which hills I'm heading for. I have 3 options, but I don't know who it would be best to visit. K's family in Albany loves me, so that would be comforting, revhepkat will be comforting to an extent (he's been here before) and oblivion to another (prolly much drinking), and visiting R in Puerto Rico will not be comforting, but it will be warm and booze will be cheap. Then again if Caro comes with me, it will be comforting. *SIGH* decisions.
Right now I just want to curl up in someone's lap and have them rock me and stroke my hair and have them tell me it's ok. But I don't think that's going to happen anywhere I go.
