I just saw a recent photo of the Main Library at UBC, arguably the most beautiful building on campus (definitely one of the oldest), being demolished. Is this true? Could the powers that be have really committed this desecration ( Read more... )

I still can't understand why they tore down something that was old, but not broken. I lament the loss that beautiful, timbered interior in the main hallway with the carvings and flags on the walls.
