East End boys and.... Eastern places

Tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn I'll leave my flat and cross this big and magnificent capital of ours, East to West in almost its entire length, to get to Heathrow a couple of hours later;

From there I'll cross this big and magnificent continent of ours, West to East in almost its entire length, to land in Moscow a few hours later

I have never actually owned a camera - when I was younger I used to borrow my parents' for my trips but then I stopped cos I realised how crap I was at taking pictures - whenever there was something worth snapping I didnt have the camera with me, when I did the photo always turned out shite etc.

This time, I borrowed an old camera-phone so I do have something; I also toyed with the idea of buying my first ever (digital) camera, event went twice to see them and chatted to the salesperson about prices, features etc... but then I coulndt really bring myself to forking out £100 odd for something I'm likely hardly ever to use and even when I do use it, not at its full potential cos of my inability to do so.
