As promised,
here's the pix from my recent travels; click on the various sub-albums (Russia, Mongolia, China and the Russia sub-sub-albums).
WARNING - there's LOADS of them, over 300 (and that's down from the original 400 plus I took), don't say I didn't warn you!
Meantime, (
here is one of them, since someone specifically asked for it )

These pictures are wonderful! I can see why there are so many (I wouldn't have been able to have left any of those out either)!!
I LOVE the Architecture in China - Even the décor and colours in ceilings, arches, etc is SO beautiful!! And don't get me started on the temples! If I ever go there I doubt I'd want to come back!!
You might not have paid him much attention but HOW CUTE is that little boy on the 4th page (still under 'China' - here)??? Awwwww! I want to keep him!! =D
You saw The Great Wall too (your pictures are FAR better than Wikipedia's and any others I've seen online - I've never actually realised how steep in is in parts)!!!! The atmosphere/being there must have been amazing! *jealous pouting* I bet your legs were ready to drop off after all that!
"questionable character some of you may know"...
Looks down right dodgy to me!! =P
What are those 2 things sticking up just after the wooden stairs in this ( ... )

Yeah, the colours are just plain amazing, and obviously the pictures dont do them justice at all (especially seeing as it was such a crap photographer as I am taking the pictures)

Heh, indeed I hadnt even noticed him. As for keeping him though, I suspect his parents may have other ideas :-P

I went to the most touristy bit and even that was beyond anything I could imagine! and yes, the return journey to Beijing on the bus was very quiet, I suspect we all fell asleep to recover after the great climb ( ... )

The shades? You have no idea how strong the sun was, everybody had to wear shades (otherwise OBVIOUSLY I wouldnt have worn them, I never wear shades unless its absolutely necessary me, oh no ;-) )
As for the boots - they're comfy and did the job excellently, I was seriously expecting them to fall apart any minute, with all the walking, climbing etc I did, and instead they're still good.
See? I'm NOT a goth, I told you ;-)
