Maybe the reason there was no Danny or Matt was because that might have required this obligatory scene:

ALLISON: Can I just say?
DANNY: Yeah?
ALLISON: THe resemblence you bear to Brad Whitford?
DANNY: Yeah?
ALLISON: It's uncanny.
DANNY: Yeah, I get that a lot.

Timothy Busfield doesn't look enough like Concannon for it to be paradoxical, I guess. Though I was majorly squeeing through all their scenes, especially the one at the end where he asks, "Didn't you have the time of your life, though?" Yay!

I gotta say, I kinda loved the Allison/Cal moments. Brought me right back to their chemistry on the West Wing.

I loved this show. Great job by all. About the quote, realmer06, was it a TWW reference? I assumed so, it had the sound of one. Maybe it was just the amazing chemistry I was savoring.

I'm really looking forward to more Jordanny. Terrific setup and they'll really bring it on home.

Haha, honestly, it's just the scene I imagine they'd have had to have if Brad as Danny had met up with Allison as Allison! And, if it sounds like Sorkin dialogue . . . well, I've watched TWW so much and so often that I just slip into, especially when I'm watching other Sorkin stuff!

And the chemistry was, quite simply, amazing, you are absolutely right!

Such a hilarious episode. I hope they touch more on why Danny went off on the prop guys, it seems rather out of character for him. It definitely seems like more of a Matt move to say something that flippant. Unfortunately, that kind of stuff is usually dropped week to week on Studio 60 (I still want to see Dolphin Girl!!!)
