I enjoyed the presentations last week where everyone had their own side for and against robots. Andre representing the creators, David as a policemen, Kimberly as a regular person, Chi as a parent, and Leah as a Representative for a better society

I agree with your point of view. The side against using robots appealed to our emotions. They showed us just how different humans are from robots and how that will translate in law enforcement. The emotional approach was stronger than the technological and innovative approach that the supporters of robots provided.

I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out here: but the anti-robot side used emotional appeals whereas the pro-robot side used logic. I think that makes sense because what the debate was really about was logic (efficiency) vs emotion (compassion).
