I dunno. Even before computers and handheld devices, people had watches. This whole keeping track of the time thing has been around for a while. I think it really got going with the industrial era when so many people went to work and had to be "on time

danny, i have to dissagree with you danny. i dont care for the cyborg culture. i am clumsy but i am responsible. i always show up to work on time (early actually) and am usually the last to go. however; i have a bad habbit of breaking and loosing my little tracking devices (my cellphone and such). i hate it when friends acuse me of being out of toucb because i haven't picked up my cell. i really hate it when my boss bitches about it. call my house!! stop me when you see me and talk. email is worse.
