I'm thinking about having a get together at my place on the 4th if people are interested.  Kids of course are welcome.  If people are interested let me know.  I don't want to step on others plans.

damn I miss those Ocean City fireworks! and then 20 mins later you could watch the ones from Atlantic City right from the dead end of the boardwalk!

yeh, that's right! There was a place near my mom's off the turnpike at exit 3 where we'd watch the show going on in philly... development (a hotel and other tall buildings) put an end to that.. of course, when I lived in the city, we'd just walk down to the end of South Street or somewhere along Penn's Landing / Deleware Ave. (yes, I know they call it 'Columbus Blvd.' or 'Ave.'... it's still Deleware Ave. to me) and watch... save for all the tourists tromping through the neighborhood, it was a nice perk to living in the city.. :)
