If you've never been alone before, then there is probably a ton that you don't know about yourself, good and bad. Also, the more comfortable you are being alone and the more aware you become of yourself and how you interact with others: positive and negative, the less desperate and needy you seem and the more people will naturally want to be around you.
Just seems its a perverse dynamic that people punish those who are alone by refusing to talk to them all the more, not even saying hi.
Its not about getting to know who I am. I know exactly who I am. And I've been working on projecting a positive image: I already have suppressed so much that I feel like I'm lying to everyone around me and putting out an image of myself that is just a shell of who I am. I know nobody wants to hear about certain things, and I've kept most of it in private posts here.
Ah well, I don't have an answer. Leave it at that. I suppose I come off as needy and desperate, but to not ask people to do things just leaves me where I am anyway... sitting at home alone by myself.
