The Einstein Puzzle

Supposedly, Albert Einstein wrote this riddle, and said 98% of the world could not solve it.

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors.  In each house lives a man with a different nationality.  The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet.  No owners have the same pet ( Read more... )

here. i spent the past fifteen minutes scribbling away figuring this out, but i've got it.

-the greenhoused german who drinks coffee and smokes prince owns the fish.

and because i don't want to feel like i wasted my time:
-the norwegian in a yellow home drinks water and smokes dunhills while playing with his cat.
-the tea-drinking dane puts his blends out on his horse's face after he rides it back to his blue home.
-the brit chugs milk while staring at his bird in his red house...and he smokes pall malls.
-the swede and his dog drink beer, smoke bluemasters, and spoon together in his white motherfucking house!
