So here is something I've been thinking about and never put into writing....I HATE it when people at the store come in and buy candy with food stamps, or as they are now known as EBT cards. I understand food stamps, and in general I support what they are, sometimes people need help feeding their familys and the government steps in and gives them

i knew a guy in hawaii who used his EBT card to buy mountain dew, cheetos, cookies and some kind of fancy fucking cheese. granted, that crap is all i ever saw this guy eat, so maybe that's all he liked, but i think it's total bullshit that other people are paying for this guy's unhealthy glottony.

when i worked at walmart 5 years ago, people using WIC had a list of things they could buy with that check and i feel like it was actually not possible to ring other things up. milk, bread, cereal--that's what they got.

i don't understand why these EBT cards aren't using the same standards.

i'm not sure i think the government should be in the business of handing out money in the first place, but, if they're going to do it, i really think they ought make sure it's being used for the right things.
