bush used religion to appeal to all the conservative christians in the country. it worked. what makes me saddest is that he didn't even have to steal this election. that many people actually thought bush was a good president. oh, and, you're not giving your money to God, you're giving it to the church. and most churches take that money and do good things with it...set up a food pantry, donate it to organizations all over the world. atleast thats how it is with my church. and not everyone does it so that they can go to heaven...some people actually feel good about it. some people like helping others out, and aren't thinking about where they will be in the after life because of it.
