Yep, it's political misdirection to deflect from the fact that their presidential candidate is mediocre and the their vp candidate is a) sequestered to keep her from the hard questions and b) not very good from what *is* known about her. The media wants a show and not a blowout, so they're happy to play along.

I agree with that comment. IIRC, NPR noted that Palin was supposed to had started out campaigning on her own Monday, and that was put on hold.

And as for that other statement, I would probably pay to hear Obama say that.
