So much I've been meaning to write, but for the moment I just relay that I'm having a 'classic' night in for me....

As the nights start to draw in, I'm in my flat, eating something comforting (baked potato with cheese), chatting to friends online, listening to music, and drinking a lovely and inexpensive red from Minervois.

Very good weekend indeed, a little of everything.

Last night on the way home a dog ran out from between parked cars right under my bike and I went flying over the handlebars. Bruised back/ribs and hip as well as scraped arm/elbow. The hospital is near me so I stopped by A&E on the way home. Apparently they don't x-ray ribs for fractures since there isn't much they can do anyway, so I went home ( Read more... )

Phew I needed that. Sorry for the brain dump, which may be mostly intelligible. Writing in my journal really helps clear my mind and sort my thoughts out. It's been too much time during which too much has happened; my head was getting cluttered.

I'm not a fan of the new lj website though. It doesn't really work well, and I can't find anything.
