This whole car drama has been going on for 4 days now. It was really heavy and oppressive on Sunday in the dealership, mainly because I hate cars and I always feel like I'm getting screwed when I do anything involving cars. I'm really surprised that all of this is due to people just not doing things the right way the first time. Can you go through another dealer?

due to a few mistakes and some ignorance on my part, there'll be no car. it's all fallen through. at least it's over.

I remember when I went to get my car loan from the NAB in '06. I was denied due to an overdue Vodafone account in my name.

My account was always in my mum's name (as they'd needed a credit card to open the account back in the mid ninties) so that was a shock. Turned out my wallet had been stolen in the late ninties and someone had opened an account using my driver's license and racked up a $900 bill. I talked to Vodafone, laid fraud charges and all that and had it cleared. Turned out it was a blessing as my brother found me a better loan through somewhere else that ended up saving me thousands of dollars on repayments.

I'm sure the fates have something similar in store for you. :o)

thanks, I'm sorry too. only now looks like we can't get one anytime soon now anyway. financing was denied. It's mostly vodafone's fault.

Man.. That really sucks. I had the same problem a few years ago with Virgin. A few lousy phone bill issues and your credits screwed..

That is really really ridiculous. I have never heard of someone having so many problems getting their car delivered.

turns out it's mainly due to a $300 bill that I, for various reasons, didn't pay in time about 2 years ago. Even though I did end up paying for it when I realised, it has still destroyed my credit rating. $300!!!!
