Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my time

So I'm handling music events for PMX. It's going a tad slower than I would like it. Many of the possible overseas talent I propose get shot down. Some say they're not enough of a draw in the U.S. These bands could be doing fantastic in Asia, but won't be accepted with the same enthusiasm here

I would never go to a j-rock concert at PMX, and never have because their artists just don't draw me. You know if you read my journal that I live and breathe good pop, so I don't know where the f**k they're getting that reasoning for. I bet I spend more money on j-pop than most j-rock fans on their CDs and magazines.

Well, if PMX is about "pacific rim" or "asian" pop culture, it should really focus on pop more, since that is much more prevalent in Asia.

Another consideration is that in general, a pop concert is much cheaper to run than a rock concert.
