I would have loved to have seen ID4 (see, I'm hep) in a drive-in. Sadly, I caught it at one of your standard variety indoor screens when I was howevah old.

hey, that's a pretty good song. Not sure it would make the short list of alternate national anthems (#1 is Prince - Free) but we could find space on the album.

nope, nothing like that... just something that tends to show up at BBQ's. BBQ is probably the official food of the 4th, but there isn't one really.

have i ever told you how much i loved Knight Rider when i was a kid? loved it! i can hear the theme song now!

i spent the fourth of july selling movie tickets to self righteous berkeley hippies (for Sicko) and jerky teenagers (for Transformers). uh, it was ok. i went home to a BBQ at Huntress House though and played with sparklers, my friends dog, and another friends baby-very American i think.

there's been big baby news here too!!! my high school friend chris crowley (who you might have met randomly in s.d.-- i think he was at marc and sarah's one time) just had a girl, and my friends phil and ellen did too! two girls in one week!

nate's one-sentence review of transformers: "it was like jar jar binks directed it."

i went to a BBQ too, and had an awful lot of fun. jj was back from cali and had nice things to say about you and nick and my west coast homies in general...
