I haven't seen that movie in a really long time, but just seeing the images had me in paroxysms of laughter. Oh, poor kids.

i avoided the lamp because the "big concept" was to make it into a kind of eggnog-induced nightmare world of x-mas... body horror came to the forefront, i guess...

that said, my parents bought me a little replica of the "leg lamp" for x-mas a few years back and we're actually using it in our living room right now. more out of a lack of lamps than anything. anyone who's been over for drinks during the holidays has had a laugh at the sight of it...

bob clarke and udo kier would make the BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER.

i will be super depressed if i get detained at my parents house tomorrow and don't get to make it back to my house to watch black christmas.

fall holidays are defined by bob clarke in my family; a christmas story on thanksgiving and uh black christmas (by myself obviously) on christmas (year five whooo!)
