yep. trying to whip up some kind of bubble-wrap cardboard contraption to ship a 3 by 4 foot painting to milwaukee was a CERTIFIED DOG AND PONY SHOW. i feel your pain.

yeah, bummer... but iron maiden is better company than my ass anyway, haha. i saw them semi-recently here, and they played in this huge stadium in camden, NJ (just across the delaware river from philly). we got loaded before the show, and too a ferry across the river AND IT WAS LIKE A SHIP OF METALHEADS. one of my favorite images ever-- a ferryboat of metalheads, setting sail for new jersey. god bless america.

love how there are little bushels of leaves as well as leaves floating free (but in a regular pattern). exciting!

i could set up a little easel at penn's landing next time OZZfest is in town.

(do they even do ozzfest anymore?)

anyway, the patterned leaves are my uninformed ode to indian minatures, i guess. nice to hear they're grabbing your attention, accordingly...
