yeah, that would terrify me as an adult. i like that the boy only gets scared once he realizes how scared his older sister is.

the way i interpreted it is that the parents thought the kids would get excited? like,"hey look it's the ACTUAL easter bunny," etc.

aww, i feel bad for the kids, but i really feel bad for the parents. they just wanted to give the kids a happy surprise.

'gee, honey... dressing up like some monstrous man sized anthropomorphous rabbit and hiding in the dark, banging on the window... what could possibly go wrong?'
there is no more satisfactory childhood horror than that of well intentioned parents.

yeah. the laugh the whole family will enjoy in a few years will be at everyone's expense for different reasons. you're either a chicken or a bad parent. in a good way.
