aiight. so i owe everyone an update in my so-called mundane life (:
first up was my virgin experience at the NEW BUTTER @ one fullerton. it was....how to say, MADNESS. the queue snaked like, waaay past the trees and along the river -.- geez. but thank gawd we managed to get in through the VIP :D i like having friends in high places, of sorts. LOL. girls nite out was much needed (: but the DJ sucked ): i mean, he just played the WHOLE friggin song, and like, he still managed to MSN during the songs. like, WTF?! never stepping foot there again. or maybe until the fad of going to butter has died. obar all the way please (: and thank goodness we were at butter ONE week before the suspected case of H1N1. THANK YOU GOD!!!
then, there was choir camp at changi ferry point chalet 1. it was good (: haha. bonded and got tighter with some, then met new faces. found out who can sing and who REALLY cannot sing. HAHAHA. i've seriously got to take that particular song outta my itouch, coz the last time it played i burst out laughing on the train and everyone thought i was a psycho. HEH. ah wells (:
was games IC, and i'm glad everyone <3ed the games!! ((: made them all think of forfeits and then used it for passing the parcel, which was PRICELESS. hahaha! the hokey pokey and all (: then there was charades, which was a super LOL moment! hahaha. the ridiculous actions and stuff. ah wells. then there were the water games...omg. haha. spasticccc!!! not to mention the "i will let you pour water over me" segment at the end :X HAHA. talent nite was...AWESOME! (: cynthia, linn and i judged the 1st segment, and then mona and cynthia judged the next segment. oh, and congrats to the people who won that nite (:
next up was FINALLY going back to oschool for lessons :D and i happened to go on the weds which was fredy's last class until aug ): coz he'll be going to LA for a month. SIAN. ah wells. routine was DOPE (: he continued choreo from the previous week, so i literally had to learn like, gawd knows how many eights within a span of 1 hr. i'm proud to say that i managed to do it, and i pulled it off. YES. now all i'm waiting for is the vid. which i hope he'll put up before he jets off to LA.....mtv groove 1 wasn't too bad (: danced to some super dee duper whiny song by don't-know-who. hahaha! then! CAM WHORE with fredy, debs and small ryan. i love my dancer friends (: seriously.
OH! and i did the STREET JAZZ MASTER CLASS with LEE from WCO from JAPAN!!! :D her class was DDDOOOPPPEE SHIT! her warmups were like OMGWTF I'M GONNA DIE kinda thing, but it really did help stretch my muscles to the max!!! my WHOLE body was already sore from ryan's lyrical jazz on mon, ballet on tues, and then, the master class. HOHO. not to mention i danced like mad on thurs nite as well :X her routine was damn cute! but had plenty of hits and pauses. couldn't nail the double turn ): ah wells. but it was a damn good experience. i'm glad i decided to go for it! :D
then came girls nite out with jen liza and qian on thurs at acid bar!!! fantabulous time! :D lotsa bitching, gossping and cam whoring. hahahaha! (: i <3 my girls! they're the constant in my life besides the fam, choir and dance :D talked about plenty of things, and i was a tad bit too honest! hahaha. i blame being tired out from dance + the margarita :X can't wait for obar this weds :D we're gonna have soo much fun our feet will hurt from dancing like mad the next day. LOL (:
ok. then after that comes....my belated birthday celebration with the church peeps. THANKS FOR THE PRESSIES MY LOVES! :D hahaha. thanks mona stephen natalie joshua lionel audrey mark mags jeffrey shawn adam david yenyen and carol :D me <3 you guys plentyplenty! cam whored like MAD in my room. hahahahaha! super epic failure with the multi-shots. haha! if i'm your friend on fb, then go check out the album! LOL. you'll see during the 1st few pics only nat and i are moving. HAHAHAHAHA. hilarious. then lionel and carol were like "maybe if we speak slowly we can see what we're saying" OMG. HAHAHAHA.
OH. and i'm perpetually at SMU coz we're trying to choreo for an upcoming comp :D hope we'll make it through!!! HOPEHOPEHOPE.
AND! TONIGHT IS TBG 2009!!! EXCITATIONS!!! :D camwhore part 2 + massive video-ing of the performances :D OH I LOVE I LOVE!!! <3 can't wait to see the dancers again! WHEEE!
