they're being mean because they are frustrated and bitter that you don't want them (or at least they don't think you do).

don't try to be friends with a guy who has a crush on you (or even used to in the past). it will never work! it's sad but true.

im a pretty normal dude and i cringed just reading this. you got some weird aggressive energy going on. doesnt sound like daddy issues directly, but i wouldn't be surprised. sorry to be blunt.
